When designing a banknote a large number of elements must be accurately addressed in order to gain national public acceptance. These elements include the depiction of the culture of the issuing country; aesthetically presented themes and people; and a range of sophisticated security features. The result must be a graphic representation of that country which the native population will readily associate with and own, instilling a spirit of national pride.
